This Yakshagana event is brought to you by Bhakti Gaurava Gita Center, Mysuru. The performance will bring to life the episode of Sri Krishna Sandhana, a pivotal moment in the Mahabharata where the Pandavas, following their incognito exile, entrust Sri Krishna with the task of negotiating peace with Duryodhana as a final effort before the imminent war.
The performance will be presented by the members of Yakshagana Samshodhana Kendra, Kumta. Yakshagana Samshodhana Kendra is an association for the study, research, and preservations of this great indian traditional art.

Yakshagana is an Indian traditional stage art based on the great epics of India such as the Ramayana, the Mahabharata, the Bhagavata, and other Puranas performed in Kannada language. The art form is well recognized in international cultural forums. In Yakshagana there is a rare combination of dance, lyrics, spontaneous dialogues, wonderful costumes and make-up, acting, specific musical instruments, and playback singing.
